Plastic Cup Free Week

Stover School has recently held their first ever Plastic Cup Free Week, following publicity about the dangers discarded items have on oceans and wildlife.

Remembrance Service

Pupils, Parents and staff were welcomed to a moving and inspirational Remembrance Day Service led by Rev’d Wimsett.

Ski Team Success

The Stover School Ski Team recorded its best day with a dozen medals and trophies at the Devon Schools Championship, including Gold for the fastest Prep team and a Bronze for the Senior team.

Weekly Menu

We offer a wide choice of hot and cold food with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and salads. At morning break-time the dining room becomes a meeting place and fresh fruit is always available for pupils to help themselves. We offer our pupils a widely varied, healthy and tasty diet. We cater for all tastes and preferences, including special diet requests and requirements.

Haytor Granite – A Celebration

The year, 2020 will mark the bicentenary of the opening of the Haytor Granite Railroad on Dartmoor, in September 1820 and a new book is being published in celebration of that event.

National Outdoor Classroom Day

Today the Preparatory School have been taking part in National Outdoor Classroom Day.

Outdoor Classroom Day is a global campaign to celebrate and inspire outdoor learning and play. On the day, thousands of schools around the world take lessons outdoors and prioritise playtime. Over 2.3 million children worldwide are taking part, more than 580,000 of those in the UK and Ireland.
