During your child’s life at Stover School, photographs, videos, written extractions, and voice recordings may be taken and used for the school magazine, displays, publications and on websites by us or by local media. Photography or filming will only take place with the permission of the Headmaster, and under appropriate supervision. Images that might cause embarrassment or distress will not be used nor will images be associated with material or issues that are sensitive. Please answer the questions below, sign and date the form and return it to the school. You can ask to see data of your child held by the school by emailing schooloffice@stover.co.uk. You may withdraw your consent at any time. I hereby permit the School to use, in whole or in part, photographs, videos, written extractions, and voice recordings of my child, his or her work, and my family for the purpose of illustrations, publications, websites and social media, including but not limited to school marketing materials. Further, I hereby permit the School to notify local newspapers of my child’s academic, athletic, and other special achievements.

In addition, they may wish to participate in our extensive programme of extracurricular activities. A risk assessment is completed for all sports fixtures, practices and individual activities. Many of these activities will be designated as being in the ‘low risk’ category. Some, however, may be identified as ‘medium risk’ and will generally be at the lower end of this category. This form gives your consent for your child to take part in such activities. Pupils who have not returned a completed Consent Form will be unable to participate in standard sports fixtures, practices and activities (on and off-site).

Friends of Stover
Welcome to the Friends of Stover Friends of Stover (FOS for short) are a group of parents who offer up their time to organise special events at Stover throughout the year. These events raise funds for additional resources for the school, helping to improve the children’s learning experience. Meetings are held regularly both in and out of school and are an excellent way to get to know other parents. FOS have key events throughout the year including Bonfire Night and the Summer Fair, and we are always looking for anyone who can help in any capacity to support us. Over the past few years, FOS has contributed over £10,000 to the tennis court covers, cricket nets, TV and camera equipment, drums, fencing equipment and a playhouse for the Nursery, as well as assistance with the spiritual garden.
