Dear Stover Families
I hope you are all well and enjoying the summer weather.
In the weeks since the end of the summer term, the Senior Leadership Team have been formulating plans which will deliver the Government’s guidelines for the full reopening of schools in September, here at Stover.
In order to allow you as much time as possible to absorb and digest the changes that will be necessary, under the Government Covid guidance and restrictions for the autumn term, we thought we would share an information video with. Please follow the video link to view it. https://youtu.be/-87ya6bf4VM
The presentation lays out the way in which the requirements will be applied in broad terms here at Stover. Of course, as we are all aware that the guidance can and does change on a fairly regular basis. To allow for this, we will forward a more detailed written overview and whole school risk assessment about a fortnight before the beginning of term. At that stage, when we are as up to date as possible with any amends to the current guidance, we will be able to address any queries that you might have.
The video is arranged in the following order and we include time tags to allow you to focus on the parts that are relevant to your family:
00:00 Richard Notman Overview of the provision at Stover School
26:05 Patrick Jenkins Health, safety, site preparation and adjustments
31:27 Jeremy Stone Curriculum, assessment and examinations
35:59 Ben Noble Provision in the Preparatory School
49:03 Helen Notman Boarding and Quarantine.
I hope you find the video useful and reassuring; much working is going on throughout the summer holiday to ensure we can deliver a productive curriculum in September, while observing the necessary restrictions and importantly, keep all of our community as safe as we possibly can.
Kind regards
Richard Notman
