Senior School Production
Romeo & Juliet is the timeless romantic story against which all love stories are judged. The suddenness of the first flames of reciprocated love are held dearly by all who have either experienced the phenomenon or those that are awaiting that joyful moment.
In bringing Shakespeare back into the Jubilee Hall, I wanted our audience to relish the confident acting of our young and talented cast who were challenged to master some of the most beautiful lines ever written in the English language. The process was, inevitably, complicated, time-consuming and exhausting but all those involved have made me extremely proud to be able to work with such vibrant, creative individuals who have become a real company. I trust that they will all cherish these performances for the rest of their lives, I know I shall.
