Parent Update – Covid 19

Dear Stover Parents & Carers,

I hope this letter finds you and your family well.

You will no doubt be aware of the various government announcements this week relating to a phased re-opening of schools.

They have proposed that from the 1st June, subject to cases of Covid-19 continuing to decline, pupils in the Nursery, Reception, Year 1, 6, 10 and 12 groups might return to school, in some capacity, with a number of detailed controls in place.  At this stage, pupils in other year groups have to remain at home and in receipt of online learning.

We will continue to deliver our virtual provision to the very best of our capability and with regular teacher interface, until we are instructed to do otherwise.

At the present time, we are receiving daily updates to the phased return advice, and will of course amend our position in light of these and inform you of any salient changes.

If you would like further information the relevant  government documentation can be found here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/actions-for-educational-and-childcare-settings-to-prepare-for-wider-opening-from-1-june-2020

Kind regards and best wishes
