Meet ‘The Gang’

5th October 2018

Stover School is now home to six pygmy goats, who roam in a grassy fenced garden near the Preparatory School.

Hazel, Dandelion and Daisy (Hazel’s son and daughter), Jesse, Plum (Jesse’s son) and Bounty have already stolen our hearts and the children (and staff) are very excited to spend time with our new school pets.

Each Year Group in the Preparatory School has been given a specific day when they can go and feed them, walk them and of course cuddle them! The Pygmy goats are incredibly used to human interaction and over the next few weeks, the children will have a chance to bond with the animals, spend time outdoors and learn the key responsibilities that come with looking after a pet.

A huge thank you must also go to Mr and Mrs Cooper-Smith for the kind loan of these adorable animals!

Watch this space for more adorable photos and updates.
