Stover School hosted their annual Under 12, 8-a-side pairs Cricket Festival, following the successful opening of their sports Pavilion by Mike Gatting last season. Teams from Exeter Cathedral School, Trinity School and Blackpool School were lucky enough to enjoy a full day’s Cricket in the picturesque Stover grounds. The standard of Cricket was excellent and it wasn’t until the final round of matches that the competition was decided. Stover went into the game against Exeter Cathedral unbeaten, and an 11 run victory in a hard fought contest saw them regain The Stover Bowl trophy from their local rivals. Harrison Gorny (Stover) was pleased to receive the Man of the Match award for a fine, all-round performance, from Sam Wyatt- Haines, the Devon U16 Captain and former Stover pupil. Sam presented commemorative certificates, medals and the trophy to the Stover Captain, Toby Goodman.
