Admissions

Stover School is unique in many ways but you really need to visit us and see for yourself to truly understand the friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Our aim is to provide a happy and nurturing environment enabling pupils to acquire excellent qualifications and the confidence to achieve their aspirations, both now and in the future.
Each term we hold an Open Day which gives an opportunity to view the School at work and play!
We will be delighted to answer any questions that you may have, arrange an appointment for you to view the School and meet the Principal and, if you wish, arrange a taster day for your child. Please contact the Registrar.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child to Stover and will be very happy to discuss any aspects of the admission process.

Overseas Entry

Initial Enquiry

With the initial application we require copies of a pupil's most recent school reports, provisional subject choices for GCSE and A Level courses, personal school references etc. If we feel that the candidate is suitable for an available place, we will request a registration form to be completed and returned to the Registrar.  The minimum requirement for entry to the Sixth Form is 5 HKCSE passes at grade D or above.  Visits to Stover and taster days can be arranged at a convenient time.  We like to interview all prospective pupils but we appreciate this is not always possible.

Registration Form and Registration Fee

Once we have received the registration form and registration fee (the form can be found in the prospectus or on our website).  A place may then be offered, with the request for a deposit of £1000 and a completed acceptance form to be returned to the Registrar.

Acceptance Form and Deposit

On receipt Stover will confirm the place and joining instructions will follow prior to the pupil commencing at Stover School.  There are many agencies who represent pupils, however, it is possible to apply for a place independently.  Stover has a policy of limiting the overall number of overseas pupils, so places available at any entry level tend to fill up quickly.  All pupils whose parents are resident abroad must have an appointed guardian, over 25 years of age, who is resident in the UK.
