Sixth Form Life

This is the most exciting and challenging phase of your education. You will have to balance the increased demands of your A levels with your increased freedom and social life. With the help and guidance of your tutors, the Head of Sixth Form and the Senior Tutor, you will find that you are able to develop all aspects of your education.

As part of the 6th Form, you will have a unique identity:

• You have your own centre for study and relaxation
• Within the centre you will have an individual study space
• The Senior Tutor is always on hand to give advice
• The Head of 6th Form is always there for regular chats and a cup of tea
• Develop your leadership skills by becoming a prefect
• You may even have the drive and ambition to be our Head Boy or Head Girl.

Work Hard

With Universities now emphasising breadth of study, Stover constantly reviews the subjects it offers to meet your demands, giving you the best possible range of courses to choose from.  Access to Internet based learning, is also available.

Play Hard 

It's not all about work! In fact you should take the opportunity to try new experiences and take part in our many social events.  Get out, Get walking! Take to Dartmoor and be part of the Ten Tors Team, a physical and mental challenge.  Build your fitness levels and earn your place in one of the many sports teams.  Earn your Duke of Edinburgh's Awardsat Bronze, Silver or Gold Level.

Do you like to Travel? Apply for the Founder's Award to support an overseas adventure like Operation Raleigh.  Take part in the sports tours, ski trips, adventure holidays, educational trips.  Expand your music and drama talents.  Run your election campaign and be the voice of the school and other young people in our area, for Teignbridge Student Council.  Try one of the vast range of clubs and activities available e.g. Young Enterprise, Wine Tasting, Photography, Web Design, Debating etc.
