Trip to Dartmouth

Last Saturday we went to Dartmouth. The weather was so lovely and everyone was so happy. We enjoyed the steam train journey from  Paignton down to Kingswear very much, and then took a boat trip across to Dartmouth. While we were there we had a chance to go shopping, look at the boats, or go for a walk in the park. It will be a lovely memory of my life in England. - Helen Te

Murder Mystery Walking Trail

We went on the murder mystery trail in such wet and windy weather that my paper-work nearly blew away.  It was great fun as we had to find the answer to clues in our group of four.  The clues were on buildings, benches and monuments and we walked the circuit of 2.5 miles in total.  We still had enough time to do some shopping and buy a drink.  The best thing about it was finding out who the murderer was.  You can win a prize if you enter the correct answer on the website. - Anastasia Korotkova

Cookery

Cookery was really fun as you could have a choice of things. All the ingredients were provided and we were allowed to ice the cakes that we made. One of the girls who lives in Germany, made apple muffins, using apples from the orchard. Some of the others made triple chocolate cookies which are really nice, as they use chocolate spread in the recipe as well as white chocolate chips. After the cookery session we took the cakes to the boarding house and shared them with all our friends. - Paige and Corrina

Aerobics Session

I enjoyed the aerobics session as I find dancing quite fun and exercise can keep you fit. Some of the movements were quite difficult and the steps were hard to remember but I loved the music. Straight after the dance session we walked to the lake to get some fresh air. It was very a very warm afternoon and the lake is so pretty. We walked all around the lake and the only disappointing thing was that the ice cream van wasn't there. I would have liked to have a sandwich in the picnic area. I liked the reflection in the water and the dragonflies and ducks. We only saw one swan there. We stayed a while in the open air class room and enjoyed the sunshine. I was very tired on the walk back. - Sarah Chan

Plymouth and the Circus

I really enjoy the trip to Plymouth it. The place was really nice and there were a lot of shops, so we had a good time in it. Some of the girls went swimming after they had done a little shopping. Some of us didn't want to go swimming so we carried on looking around all of the shops. Today we went to the circus. It was funny and we all really enjoyed it. I like to go out on Sundays because if not they can sometimes seem too long.  This weekend was, in my opnion, the best of all, but I also enjoyed Dartmouth a lot. - Monica Quintana
