Mansion house

Mansion House – sometimes referred to as the Junior girls house – usually houses the youngest boarders upwards. A grand marble staircase leads you up to the Boarding area, and the house is part of the original Stover Lodge built by James Templer.

Mansion is run by Dr Natalie Williams, who has just joined the school having completed her Doctorate, and the assistant houseparent is Mrs Alison Bradley, who has been in Mansion House for over a year now. Mansion house has 33 beds, and dorm sizes range from 2 – 7 beds.

All rooms, apart from the junior rooms, have a study space for each boarder. The junior boarders have the option of using the Library or Bellever room for study, both of which are just below Mansion House. The junior girls are supported with the ‘junior’ needs being taken in to account. There is a very homely and personal feel to the house.

The common room is the hub of activity with a kitchen area, 4 computers - all with Skype access, and lots of sofas and comfy cushions!
