Enrichment and Activities

At Stover Preparatory School we pride ourselves on the variety and quality of clubs and activities we offer for our pupils. The majority of these take place after school for Year 3 to 6, although there are also many that run during break and lunchtimes. Prep School pupils are encouraged to join at least one club and /or activity per week. However, most pupils join many and want to remain at school after lessons every day!

Clubs change each term and include: sports, drama, chess, Spanish, art, craft, card making, orienteering and golf. Horse riding, tennis and ballet are offered throughout the year. In addition we have a team of highly qualified, experienced peripatetic staff who offer instrumental, voice and drama lessons leading towards ABRSM and LAMDA examinations.

The Pre-Prep pupils have break time sports and recorder clubs as well as Pre-Prep choir.

Stover School belongs to the Devon Schools’ Sports partnership and we participate in numerous events with other schools in the area with many of the events being held in our extensive grounds.
