Friends of Stover

Several EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES have arisen for parents or school staff  to become involved in Friends of Stover.  An energetic, registered charity, organising social and fundraising events for Stover School. 

Current voluntary vacant positions include:

CHAIR: This can be an individual or shared role which ensures the charity meets its stipulated aims and objectives through regular school liaison, committee meetings, events, day-to-day parental contacts, publications & school website. If elected, you would be required to attend termly and monthly committee meetings, as well as fulfil post-related duties

VICE-CHAIR: To assist the Chair with the above duties.

SECRETARY: Attend and minute committee meetings, circulate agendas, book meeting rooms and respond to correspondence and update the Friends of Stover Web page where necessary.

GENERAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS: Attend committee meetings and co-ordinate and help with events.

MEMBER: Attend meetings and help with events on an as and when basis

Kitchen Porter

A vacancy has arisen in the school’s Catering Team –

For a kitchen porter – to cover various duties including vegetable prep,

Washing-up and cleaning


This is a part time post 11am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday

Must be flexible, enthusiastic and a team player
