Stover is situated adjacent to the Templer Way, a footpath, which runs from Dartmoor to the coastal town of Teignmouth. A short 5 minute walk along the pathway will lead you to Stover Country Park with over 114 acres of woodland, heathland, grassland, lake and marsh and a substantial variety of wildlife. Dartmoor National Park
One of Britain’s Breathing Spaces, and a member of the 15-strong National Park family. Dartmoor National Park covers an area of 368 square miles, making it the largest and wildest area of open country in Southern England. Lots of people visit the National Park to enjoy the beautiful scenery and to recharge their batteries, but many come to get active! With over 450 miles (730km) of public rights of way, there is an abundance of walking routes to suit all tastes and abilities .
